Harlock Named Blue Heron HealthPro Director
Rochester, N.Y.—Blue Heron HealthPro LLC, a recruitment firm specializing in the permanent placement of high-quality overseas healthcare professionals in U.S. healthcare facilities, has appointed Rick Harlock Director. Harlock brings over 20 years of experience in both the clinical and administrative sectors of the healthcare industry, including facility operations, clinical service management, human resources/recruitment and staffing, and business development. He also has two decades of experience as a registered nurse.
Before joining Blue Heron, Harlock spent 20 years with Buffalo-based Kaleida Health System, one of the largest U.S. healthcare systems of its kind. As Administrator of Corporate Employment, Harlock established staffing processes resulting in significantly reduced vacancy rates in essential positions. The program was recognized by the Healthcare Association of New York State for achieving among the lowest "hot job" vacancy rates in the state. Harlock earned his undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration and Planning from Fredonia State University College, and is pursuing a master’s degree in Professional Leadership at St. Bonaventure University.
